INGREDIENTS
BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids) – two functions of BCAAs include signaling regions of the brain associated with decreasing food intake and increasing basic metabolic rate. These results led to a clinical trial by Alfred B. Ordman to develop a nutraceutical method for controlling weight gain in humans. The potential of nutrients to signal changes in metabolism is exemplified by how BCAAs may increase muscle repair, but it is important to be aware how it may also decrease appetite.
Hydroxycobalamine – converts carbohydrates into glucose in the body, thus leading to energy production and a decrease in fatigue and lethargy in the body. It helps in healthy regulation of the nervous system, reducing depression, stress, and brain shrinkage. It helps maintain a healthy digestive system. Vitamin B12 also protects against heart disease by curbing and improving unhealthy cholesterol levels, protecting against stroke, and high blood pressure. It is essential for healthy skin, hair, and nails. It helps in cell reproduction and constant renewal of the skin and protects against cancers including breast, colon, lung, and prostrate cancer.
L-Carnitine – required for the transport of fatty acids from the intermembraneous space in the mitochondria, into the mitochondrial matrix during the breakdown of lipids (fats) for the generation of metabolic energy.
Pausinystalia Yohimbe – Yohimbe has shown to increase lipolysis in multiple studies. Administered prior to exercise, boosts lipolysis and serum FFA levels both during and following exercise; blockade of adipocyte alpha-2 adrenoreceptors makes at least a modest contribution to this pro-lipolytic activity. Pre-exercise administration has the potential to down-regulate the lipoprotein lipase activity of visceral adipocytes, increase lipolysis in refractory gynoid fat depots, and improve the impaired lipolytic response to exercise in the elderly
